I don’t know what’s wrong with guys at Digg, they have banned my account just because i was digging too often=15 times in a month, well i cant understand what kind of logs they are using, i would request every one to dump Digg and show the Exit Door, a Social Media can not Stay long by troubling its users.

I've always found the social media power user dream to be a bit unrealistic. Sure, you could get your profile out there and get SMM consulting work, but what if Digg bans you? Surely, most people do not have enough time to maintain active profiles on multiple websites.

To be honest I've been steering clear of digg of late because of this. Mass banning of users, potential threat of nofollow, clear spamming of news (i'm sure their algorithm is flawed). They need a rethink...

I agree Tad, I left del.icio.us because of their use of nofollow when all of their damn content comes from other sites. And digg is screwing up big time, so hopefully the linkerati is getting the message.

Well you define the main point above:

“Socializing throughout several platforms and being interconnected is key.”

I did a lot of stumbling and am still active. I stumbled a lot of posts on humanrights issues. There was this Blogger Awareness Action of BlogCatalog earlier this year and I discovered a lot of high ranked sites covering the subject human rights.
Somehow one day my pagerank on this SU blog was gone, it kinda disappeared on technorati and I still don’t know why.

However I don’t mind at all.

If not then not.

I do get mad at my tools every now and then, though. Ask the Vanagon I shattered the windshield in after it refused to start after hours of tinkering with it. But I get your point. Good post.
