Thanks for the tip. I am starting a blog and I am out looking for any and all ideas that I can use to get off of the ground. I had no idea I needed to tell Google that the site is a blog.

That is very interesting. I’ve never thought of it that way. Will do some experimenting and see how it goes. You’d think, as you say, that Google is able to identify wordpress CMS, crawl technorati and other blog aggregators and check for pings, rss aggregators, etc.
